WELCOME TO DESIGN GEEKS.

We are a couple of graphic designers in Denver who wanted to start a daily design blog, mainly to help keep us constantly thinking about design and ways to improve our skills. It’s also our hope that we inspire others along the way. Even if we made someone mad, that would be cool, too.

E: I’ve been a graphic designer here in Denver for 10 years. Denver has been an interesting to market to work in, as it likes to think it’s sophisticated, but still has a low-key culture. Like the song, “Rhinestone Cowboy,” only not as cheesy.

Inspiration: Saul Bass, Vaughan Oliver, George Nelson, Eames Bros., typography, fashion, modern home design, mid-century modern, color
Philosophy: I believe in clean, powerful design. Simple, not fluffy. But elegant. Needless to say I’m not a huge fan of David Carson. I’m also a fan of creative collectives versus agencies.

Philosophy: I’m Erin’s complete opposite, I love texture and layers. Complexity is my forté. My photoshop files regularly consume over 1 gig. I’m always pushing the limits of photoshop.
